Kids lead the investigation
At every stop, kids hold the equipment, read the meters, and decide for themselves whether the ghosts are friendly. They are investigators, not spectators standing at the back of a crowd.
San Diego's only ghost tour built from scratch for kids. Real ghost hunting equipment in their hands, three genuinely haunted stops, and exclusive access to Heritage Park that no other tour in the city can offer. Every kid leaves a certified Junior Ghost Hunter.

Thrilling enough to be memorable, safe enough for bedtime right after. No jump scares. Nothing faked. Real experiences do happen out there, and while they are rare, they are always friendly.
We hold exclusive access to Heritage Park. No other San Diego ghost tour can take you here. Victorian-era homes with 150 years of stories, and a location paranormal investigators have been drawn to for decades.
Kids learn San Diego's real past through stories they will still be retelling at school on Monday. Settlers, outlaws, and the people who actually built Old Town.
Equipment rotates at every single stop. Nobody spends the whole tour just watching somebody else's kid hold the meter. Every child is hands-on at every location.
Not a national chain running a script written in another state. Our company, our guides, our stories, our research, all San Diego. Every dollar stays here.

Every tool the adults use, sized and explained for young investigators. Each host carries a slightly different kit, so the lineup varies by night. Here is what usually comes out.
EMF Detector
Lights up near unexplained electromagnetic energy.
Spirit Box
Scans radio frequencies for voices and responses.
Dowsing Rods
Used by investigators for over 200 years to detect a presence.
Grid Lights
Reveals movement and shadows in dark spaces.
REM Pod
Detects environmental changes and anything moving close by.
Crystal Pendants
Used to detect and reveal shifts in spiritual energy.
Flat, easy walking through Old Town San Diego at an easy pace for little legs. Frequent stops, plenty of time to investigate, and no long stretches between locations.

Stop 1
Victorian-era homes dating back more than 150 years. This is where the investigation starts, and where the meters tend to spike first. Beautiful, atmospheric, and full of activity nobody has ever explained.
Exclusive access · No other tour
Stop 2
One of the most famous haunted buildings in America. Kids hear the original history and the real stories behind the landmark, not the version repeated on every other tour in town.

Stop 3
A real 19th-century graveyard where not every grave was moved when the road went in. Some are still under the street. This is where the grid lights and dowsing rods come out.

San Diego local
At the end of the investigation, every participant receives an official Junior Ghost Hunter Certificate proving they survived San Diego's most haunted mile. Take it home, frame it, bring it to show-and-tell. We have lost count of how many end up on a refrigerator door.
It is spooky, not scary. Think Scooby-Doo rather than a horror film. There are no jump scares, no actors leaping out, no gore, and nothing staged. The stories are real history and real reported experiences, told at a level the whole group can handle. Our guides read the group and adjust as they go. In years of running this tour we have never had a report of nightmares.
Ages 4 through 18, and a parent or legal guardian has to come along. The sweet spot is roughly 6 to 13, but we regularly run mixed-age groups with a 5-year-old and a 15-year-old on the same tour and both leave happy. Younger siblings do fine because the walking is flat and the stops are frequent.
About 90 minutes covering roughly one mile of flat, easy walking through Old Town San Diego. The pace is set for little legs, with three long stops built in. Strollers are manageable on the route.
We meet at Senlis Cottage in Heritage Park, Old Town San Diego. Free parking is available around the area and we send a parking map as soon as you book. Arrive 15 minutes early, because parking in Old Town can get competitive on busy evenings.
Tours typically start at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM depending on the season and the night. Check the current schedule on the booking page for live times and availability.
Yes, and that is the whole point of the tour. Kids hold the EMF detectors, work the spirit box, carry the dowsing rods, and set up the grid lights themselves. Assignments rotate at every stop so nobody spends the night watching somebody else investigate. It is the same class of equipment we use on our adult paranormal investigations.
Comfortable walking shoes, a light layer since Old Town cools off after sunset, a camera or phone, and a brave attitude. Everything else is provided.
The tour runs rain or shine through light rain and drizzle. Heavy downpours may cause a cancellation, in which case we will contact you directly. San Diego weather is usually on our side.
This tour investigates outdoor locations, including the grounds of Heritage Park, which we have exclusive access to. The Whaley House stop is exterior. Everything happens in open air, which keeps the group comfortable and the pace easy.
Three things. It is the only ghost tour in San Diego designed specifically for kids rather than an adult tour with the scary parts trimmed out. We hold exclusive access to Heritage Park, so no other operator can take you there. And we are locally owned and operated, so the stories come from our own research in this city rather than a script written by a national chain in another state.
San Diego's only kids ghost tour. Exclusive Heritage Park access. $42 per person, everything included, no hidden fees.
